Personalized Nutrition. Evidence-Based Support.

Atlanta Macklin brings more than 10 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings to help you make sense of nutrition and find what works for you. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Licensed Dietitian (LD), and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), she offers comprehensive nutrition care—from diabetes education and heart health to weight management and everyday wellness.

Her approach pairs current research with practical, compassionate support—without shame or pressure. Together, you’ll build realistic habits around your health needs, preferences, and the foods you enjoy. Focused plant-based plans are available too, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply curious about adding more plants to your plate.

About Me

Atlanta Macklin RDN, LD, CDCES

Since 2016, I have supported clients in building healthier, more balanced lives through a deeper understanding of nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness. My clinical background includes weight management, diabetes, renal and cardiac care, behavioral health, allergies, gastrointestinal, wound care, and more.

In 2024, I earned my CDCES credential, enhancing my ability to provide specialized diabetes care and education. I also hold a Certificate in Weight Management and Obesity, allowing me to offer comprehensive, evidence-based support for metabolic health.

My practice is rooted in a holistic, evidence-based, non-diet approach. I move away from weight-focused pressure and instead help clients develop sustainable habits that support long-term health and well-being. Even small, consistent changes can lead to meaningful, lasting results.

As a licensed and registered dietitian nutritionist, I am passionate about helping people find an approach to nutrition that supports their health and fits their lives. Plant-based nutrition holds a special place in my heart, informed by more than 20 years of plant-based eating and over 10 years as a vegan. While I am happy to help you explore plant-based options, you don't need to be vegan or vegetarian to work with me. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you build realistic, sustainable habits that work for you.
